Student Membership

Student Membership in the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership can help you:

• Nurture your professional and spiritual life;
• Stay informed and professionally updated;
• Gather and dialogue with your peers;
• Collaborate with others in a member-driven organization.

Student membership carries all the benefits, rights and responsibilities associated with full membership except the right to vote. Student membership does not carry the right to vote unless the student also qualifies as a Professional Member.

Requirements

Full Time Students

Any full time graduate or undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited degree program in Religious Education, Theology, Religious Studies or a related field is exempted from the payment of student dues. The exemption request is included on the Student Membership application. This exemption from annual dues can be renewed until full-time studies are completed.

Part-time Students

Any part-time student enrolled in an accredited degree program in Religious Education, Theology, Religious Studies or a related field and also working full/part-time in the catechetical field is eligible for the discounted student rate of $30. Requests for this discounted rate on the Membership application should include a copy of the student’s current class enrollment. This discounted student rate can be renewed until studies are completed and a degree is granted.
