Bylaws: Board decision affirmed 01/21/2009

• Further the Church’s catechetical mission, particularly as articulated in its catechetical directories and other major documents.
• Cultivate within NCCL’s members a sense of being part of a national catechetical community with a shared vision and commitment.
• Collaborate with other organizations to further the Church’s catechetical mission.
• Recognize and support the unique leadership role in catechetical ministry exercised by diocesan offices and those in the academic field.
• Incorporate the practical and theoretical foundations of catechesis in all conference committees.
