Bylaws: Board decision affirmed 11/6/2010

• Promote innovation in the ministry of evangelization through various means including the New Wineskins award.
• Solicit nominations from parishes and dioceses for the New Wineskins award each year.
• Analyze the theory and practice of evangelization and the New Evangelization in relation to catechesis.
• Research best practices in evangelization within the catechetical ministry.
• Develop best practices on how to enable catechetical programs to reach out to inactive Catholics.
• Work with committees to develop products that will benefit dioceses in terms of the New Evangelization.
• Work with all standing committees to develop contributions to the New Evangelization.
